Getting Started
- Tape off the shape of the headboard. Divide it into two panels to make it look more realistic.
- Apply 2 coats of cream base coat and let dry for 4 hours.
- Mix the coloured glaze: 3/4 cup beer, 1/2 cup alcohol and stir in 1 tablespoon burnt umber powder pigment.
- Dip your paintbrush into the glaze and apply in jagged, crooked lines, leaving darker lines and other lighter edges.
- Take a soft rag and fold it. Blend the glaze together. With your brush, push the paint around, creating lines. Always move in one direction
