Tools and Materials Needed
- Cutting mat
- Utility knife
- Mactac
- Frosted Glass Spray (imitation etching fluid)
- Indelible marker
- Star design
Getting Started
- Clean and dry the window, ridding it of any streaks. Find a star design (we used a stencil) and transfer the image onto self-stick paper (mactac). Cut out using a utility knife or sharp scissors. Depending on the size of the window, you may need a few dozen stars. .
- Stick the stars randomly over the glass surface. Press down firmly so that the spray cannot seep under the edges. Spray the entire surface of the glass, holding the can about 6 inches away. Spray over the stars so that you will have sharp points when the stickers are removed. .
- Once the spray is dry, carefully peel off the stars, using a utility knife to lift the edges.
