Tools and Materials Needed
- Lengths of silk cord
- Thin white straws
- Silk flowers and leave

- Wooden curtain rod, painted white
- Small eye hooks
- Ruler and pencil
Getting Started
- Measure the width of the window. Make sure that the rod is the right width. Divide the rod into equal parts with a ruler and pencil, and screw in the eye hooks at the points marked.
- Measure from where the rod will hang to a few inches above the floor. Cut lengths of silk cord to that measurement. Tie a knot at the end of each piece of cord.
- Thread a straw onto the cord, pushing it down to the end where the knot will stop it.
- Attach a flower at the end of the straw.
- Thread through another straw.
- Attach a leaf at the end of that straw.
- Repeat steps 3-6 until the cord has been covered.
- Attach each completed cord to each eye hook.
- Hang the pole above the window.
