Tools and Materials Needed

Getting Started

  1. On the sides of the fridge, wash properly, and prime with a high-adhesive primer that has been tinted grey. You may need a couple of coats to get a uniform finish.
  2. Using the plastic-bristle brush, lightly apply the metallic silver paint. You want to see the brush marks, so it gives the appearance of brushed metal. Let dry.
  3. For the front of the fridge, measure and cut the contact paper to the size of the panels on the front. Attach 1 piece at a time and smooth out any air bubbles with a wallpaper spatula. Apply 2 coats of satin varnish to protect the surface.
