Materials and Tools

Mixing Containers
Stir Sticks
Steel Spatulas
Rags
Water
Accent colors: green, aqua, cream, and rose tinted plaster
Sand tinted plaster
Step by step instructions
Apply streaks of each colored plaster randomly over the primed wall with a small spatula
Mix sand-colored tint into the container of Venetian Plaster. Stir well. Apply a skim coat over the entire surface, covering the colored streaks, but leaving hints of color peeking through. Let dry 1 to 3 hours depending on the thickness of the plaster
Flatten the blade of the steel spatula against the wall and go over the surface, smoothing the peaks. The friction will polish the surface to a silky finish
