It's always best to use low-tack tape when painting, but if you really can't find any, here's how to make do with masking tape.

All you need to do is remove some of the masking tape's stickiness - or tack. Take a strip of the tape and stick it to your clothing or a rug, remove, and voila!, low-tack masking tape.
