You do not have to live beside the beach to have a room with a seaside theme! You can create the atmosphere of sizzling summers.
A color palette of royal blues , whites or sand tones can be painted on the walls, wood work, radiators and furniture.Existing paint on a sleigh bed's footboard can be sanded down by hand then you can create a simple beach mural. Satin varnish can be added for protection.
A suggestion for lower walls is wood wainscoting, real or painted. For upper walls use a low sheen paint. The imperfections will look good. Have fun!
