Imitation tiles or stones are great paint treatment for imperfect wood floors. The effect looks real and any repairs and color variations are hidden. You'll need some upholstery foam cut the size of the tile, a few shades of terra cotta paint and painter's tape to mask off the grout lines. For full instructions click here
