Instructions
Step 1. (Shot 1) Wearing gloves, use the sponge and cleanser to wash the surface thoroughly. Rinse and dry it. Following the directions on the bottle, apply a thick coat of etching cream to the tiles with the wide paintbrush. Wear protective gloves, goggles, and a mask as it is a corrosive material. The etching cream removes the sheen from the tiles to make them more adhesive. Rinse the etching cream off the walls and dry them.
Step 2. (Shot 2) Apply a coat of high-adhesive primer using the roller, making sure to cover the grout as well. Let it dry overnight.
Step 3. (Shot 3) Pour the terra-cotta-colored stucco into a small tray and roll it onto the wall as evenly as possible. Let it dry for 4 hours, then roll on the second coat. Try to avoid making roller marks. Cover the grout lines as well (but their indentations will still be visible).
Step 4. (Shot 5) Let the surface dry overnight and then apply two coats of varnish using a roller. Water-based varnish goes on milky and dries clear.
