Here’s recycling at its best! Old wood planks taken from the basement laundry room floor were given a new purpose in the kitchen. The planks were sanded smooth and stained a rich dark brown, then used as veneer on the sides of the kitchen island. The quartz stone surface is stain, scratch and heat resistant and offers a wide range of colour and design options.
