Leaf Stencil Wall

Look for large stencils on line, or make your own by photocopying a motif that you like. Copy the image onto Mylar (stencil plastic) and cut with a sharp knife. We cut three sizes of fern leaves and positioned the stencils randomly over the wall to replicate the look of today’s popular oversized pattern wallpaper. To highlight the pattern, use paint with a glossy sheen for the stencilling over a low sheen satin base coat.
