I've just finished the third week of my month-long internship with Debbie Travis Branding, I can't believe how quickly time is flying by!
To bring you up to speed on the last two weeks:
If you follow Debbie on Twitter, you know that she was on set for an upcoming series of online videos for Canadian Tire last Friday. In the videos, Debbie shares some fun and functional storage and organization ideas to refresh your space. See some behind-the-scenes pictures below!
In preparation for filming, some of the things I got to do included: helping to select and style props for the sets, create a DIY project and witness "tv magic." Of course, the most exciting part was being lucky enough to meet Debbie and see her in action on set before she hopped continents to film the pilot episode for her new series. She's definitely a role model for me, and absolutely as charismatic and genuine in person as on tv!
Back at the office, this week consisted of: a lesson in Pantone colour, organizing the many stacks of magazines, working on product proposals for a product to expand the Debbie Travis product line at Canadian Tire and getting in the spirit for the holiday season by mocking up some packaging concepts for Debbie's collection of ornaments!
