Another week, another blog from Laura the DT Branding intern! Highlights from the last (busy) week included:
A Visit to Retail City - I was so curious after hearing about this place since the start of my internship here, and finally got the chance to check it out last week. Essentially, it's a large Store Design & Test Centre with merchandise displays right down to the candy aisle. It was exciting to see the design process of how things end up in retail stores and some of the things that are new and upcoming for next year! It's a neat place, but bizarre to be in a store without the hoards of customers!
Christmas in May - While we've finally got the weather to break out the sunblock, sunglasses and shorts, at our branding office it's the season to be elbow-deep in baubles, snowmen and garlands. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! There are some super cute ornaments I already know I'll be picking up this year.
Getting Organized - I got to preview the upcoming series of Canadian Tire videos that I've mentioned in my previous blogs. We'll be sharing some more content as they go live in the next couple of weeks.
The Debbie Travis Team - Easily the best part of last week was finding out that I'll be continuing my internship with Debbie Travis Branding throughout the summer! A big thank you to all who have made me feel so welcome throughout this experience!
