The colour brown is said to make us feel safe and secure. Nature is filled with browns in all variations from the multiple hues found in wood to earth tones, sand and stone. However, we don’t often think of brown as a decorating shade.

I find it captivating to play with a single shape in design. One of the most common and compelling is the ubiquitous circle.
The circle has many symbolic associations that bring meaning consciously or unconsciously to its presence in art and architecture.
