Convert a garden shed into a kids' playhouse with a combination of new and found materials.

Dear Debbie: We have an old shed in the backyard that we are fixing up for our kids to use as a playhouse. This may sound like a silly question, but should it match the exterior of our house, or can it be completely different?

Kid's Rooms: From White To Bright
With bold shades, a little goes a long way. Hot pink and blue accents zing against white and peach background.

 I receive many emails from kids, particularly girls around ten years old. They’ve watched my shows and know that I believe in their innate ability to choose great colours and designs. Our rooms are or should be an extension of who we are and what we hold dear. Freedom of expression at any age is a wonderful gift.
